The kilim cushions are made of woolen kilims and Turkish (Anatolian) rugs.

These products are vintage - they can be from 20 to even 80 years old. These carpets have authentic signs of  use such as fading or abrasions
 - these details give them unique character and charm.

Turkish rugs are comparable to Persian ones, but they are thicker and contain both wool and cotton as well as silk. 
The carpets are dominated by prayer, floral and geometric patterns - animals and people are not represented on the carpets because the Koran prohibits it.

The carpets from which the pillows are made are carefully selected and thoroughly cleaned before that they can be sewn into pillowcases. 
The back of the pillow is made of cotton fabric.

The pillows can be spot cleaned with a damp cotton cloth. In the case of larger dirt, I suggest using the services of a professional dry cleaner.

Kilim pillows are exceptionally beautiful and very decorative. Due to the thickness of the (carpet) fabric, they are quite stiff and not necessarily cozy to the touch,
however, they are undeniably an unique element of any interior design and always attract attention.

Each of the kilim cushion is unique and one of a kind.
